Kutluk is played on the real-world map. It uses your location to show your neighborhood on the map and to let you settle there.
Only your approximate location is used.
- On your device, your location is turned into an area of a few square kilometers.
- Only this area is sent to the server. Your exact location never leaves your device.
- Your location is read only while the game is open and only with the "while using the app" permission.
- The area you're in shows on the map as a ring.
What is location used for?
- You build your First Settlement inside this area.
- Raid range is measured from the area you're in (up to 3000 km).
If you don't want to give location permission, you can choose a Saved location on the map. You build your First Settlement there.
If your location was read more than 15 minutes ago, the game reads it again. For details, see the privacy information: Privacy.
