The Kurultai is the vote to change the Clan's leader. It isn't started by hand; it opens on its own when the conditions are met.
When does it open?
The vote opens if one of the senior members has more Kut than the leader with the Kağan rank for 60 days in a row. If they fall behind for even one day, the count resets.
Senior members: those with the Yabgu, Tarkan and Ayan titles.
Voting
- The vote stays open for 48 hours.
- Only senior members vote. The leader doesn't vote.
- The options are "Keep on Throne" or "Remove from Throne". You can change your vote until time runs out.
Result
- If there are more "Remove from Throne" votes, the leader steps down and becomes a Yabgu.
- The new leader is the senior member with the most Kut at that moment.
- On a tie, or if there are more "Keep on Throne" votes, the leader stays.
If the leader doesn't open the game for 90 days, leadership passes without a vote to the most active senior member.
